Ranked in order of importance, lowest-to-highest:

3. Develop a drug that would be made universally available
that would permanently raise humanity's IQ across-the-
board by 30+ points. That would almost surely spell the
end of almost ALL manifestations of bigotry, and wars.
INTELLIGENT people are interested in pursuing neither.

2. Find a vaccine for all forms of cancer, and make it available
worldwide as has been done with smallpox and polio.

1. Find a way to HALT (and if possible, to some extent,
reverse) the aging process. THAT is the REAL disease.
Everything else that medicine treats are SYMPTOMS, by
comparison.
